7 Tips to Get Pregnant Fast

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

The number of woman working full time has caused some of them to forego pregnancy as they build their careers first. So when they feel that it is time to finally settle down they naturally want to get pregnant fast and any delay is a big concern for them especially when they are in the late 30s or in their early 40s.

Keep in mind that one of the reasons of infertility is age, in other words the odds to get pregnant fast within a year of trying is also based in your age. For example, if you are in your early 20s the percentage of getting pregnant quick is about 94%, early 30s around 70 -85 % and those who are age 30 -39 have about 65 -70 % of chance, while women 40 and above has only 5% chance to get pregnant fast.

Why? This is because women in their early age are more fertile as this is the prime age to get pregnant, yet the chance is only at 25% and that percentage also goes down when you get older. So if you are in your middle 40s you only have 5% chance to get pregnant, nevertheless, it is not impossible for you to still get pregnant fast within a year even if you are old as there are some tips to help you.

The following are some of the tips that could assist in your goal to get pregnant fast and healthy.

·Eat Healthy – Fertility can be achieved easily with the right diet. A well-balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and meat can help your body be condition for pregnancy.

·Avoid Cigarette – Caffeine is one factor that has been proven to cause infertility and therefore must be avoided if you want to get pregnant fast. This is due to the fact that it hinders the body to function fully as caffeine restricts the flow of blood that could enable you to conceive naturally.

·Sex During Ovulation – Couple that has sex during the women’s peak or fertile period has a great chance to conceive naturally, of course this is possible when there is no other condition present that could prevent natural pregnancy.

·Female Orgasm – Not many individual knows that a woman who orgasm during sexual intercourse has a high rate of getting pregnant compared to women who never climax.

·Exercise – Staying fit and healthy has a lot of benefits and that includes the chance to get pregnant fast. So try to exercise regularly but do not overdo it, as this can also be bad for you, sometimes exercise can result in Amenorrhea (absence of period) that would cause you infertility.

·Stress – if you are always stressed out, do not be surprised anymore if you are not getting pregnant. So try to relax and condition not just your body but mind as well, to make it easier to get pregnant fast.

·Morning sex – Sex in the morning is not just a fun way to start the day but also a great time, because the men semen has the highest rate of sperm count.

These 7 tips are essential to help you get pregnant fast but if you are suffering from any condition that can prevent pregnancy, these tips are useless.

How To Attract (and Keep) An Incredible Coach In Your Life

Monday, July 12th, 2010

“When the student is ready – the teacher appears…”

Coaching is absolutely one of the most important, fundamental concepts that is both can help you reach new heights of success in your business and life, and can help you crack the ’secret code’ to unbelievable, massive growth and duplication in your team. Funny enough, it’s probably the most ignored strategy in Network Marketing, both as a distributor trying to find that ’secret sauce’, and a leader who’s wondering why he’s got a bunch of frustrated downline who don’t know how to build a business.

Absolutely, without question, this is the most important concept that you can ever learn in business: If you want to be at the TOP of your game, you MUST be willing to be coached, and find the best person possible, who can help you clean up your game and take it to the next level. I like to use Michael Jordan as an example, because even though he was arguably one of the top basketball players of all time, at the height of his success, when every move he made seemed magical, he was still a team player – and willing and ready to receive guidance and feedback.

Now, keep in mind that Jordan was BETTER at basketball, and had more success in his life than any of his basketball coaches, at any point in their life experienced – but still he was willing to take critical feedback, guidance, and correction at skills that he was arguably the best in the world at performing.

Now why is that? I’ve heard people say things like ‘only listen to people who are getting better results than you in the area you’re seeking’, but then why did a $100,000,000 per year earner take advice from people that earned dramatically smaller incomes, played basketball less well, and were never as influential as he was?

Because a great coach isn’t there to be better at everything, he is there to always help keep you on track. A great coach is good at identifying the strength of the players, and at helping people improve skill sets that they don’t even have themselves. The most important thing that a coach can do, however, is to help you focus and keep on the right track, and hold you accountable to the things that you agree that you’ll do together.

I had a major breakthrough a few weeks back, when I had a guy come on one of my coaching calls who’s been one of the largest distributors in the Amway corporation for the last 20 years. He shared some concepts that have totally transformed the way that I thought about life and business, and it put into perspective something that was missing in my business, and was one of the most important changes I’ve made to the way I approach building a team – and here’s what it was:

Putting in place a structured accountability and coaching program for anyone in my team who is willing to be accountable and follow instructions. Now, keep in mind, I couldn’t possibly have the time in a week to coach every person in my organization, and that’s ok – because I don’t need to – because only people that are willing to be accountable will track their results, activity, and follow instructions – which is about 15% of my team, and I have my leaders coach their leaders, and so on.

One of the things that I realized after coaching back to back team members for 10 hours straight, the first day I implemented the program, was that the biggest roadblock that team members have is that they don’t know what to do next. This is something that shocked me – because I intuitively seem to understand what comes next, and see Network Marketing as a simple, relationship recruiting based business model, and it seems natural what should always come next in building a group.

However, what I found is that most of my team, even after having great training, tools to buy, a great fast-start system, online marketing funnels, a warm market prospecting system, even if everything is in place – most people haven’t had my experience base in network marketing, and they have absolutely, no idea what to do next, AND, I found that by guiding them in one direction, not only were they more productive – but they are happier, work harder, understand better, and prospect more. Plus, my organizational recruiting is more than a third higher, and I’m only 2 weeks in to the program.

Fascinating looking at it. What I want to talk about now, though, is how to attract a good coach and keep them in your life. I have a famous quote up at the top of this article that I’ve heard 1000 times and have no idea where it came from, and it still holds just as true. If you want the attention of a great coach, be willing and ready to learn, be a sponge, and be willing to take action and be accountable.

Sometimes, as a coach to others, I start giving feedback and advice, only to be interrupted by a student who has absolutely no idea how to do something, giving me their opinions on ‘the way it is’. If you want to attract and keep a great mentor – be willing to listen and correct your direction, even if you don’t completely agree – because chances are a great mentor can see things in you that you don’t yet see.

For example, I pay a few professional coaches, and one of them made a couple of suggestions to me over the course of the last couple of weeks that were right ‘in my face’ suggestions about my personal life. Funny enough, though, just one of those suggestions has now made me more money than I’ll pay for 2 months of coaching, just 2 weeks after hearing it.

Had I been an amateur, and had a huge ego, I’d be short about $2,000 short in the last 2 weeks, from no additional effort or energy than I would have expended otherwise.

You and I are simple beings, and we can be compared to a rocket headed to the moon – off course 98% of the time. Just like NASA gives constant nudging, feedback, and guidance to a rocket, a coach will help you, off track 98% of the time still reach your destination on schedule. So here are some ideas to help you:

1. Track everything you actually do – for example, if you’re marketing, you could track how many articles you’re writing – how much you’re spending on PPC, how many leads your generating, your landing page conversions, etc. If you’re warm market prospecting, you could track how many one on one presentations you’re doing, how many 3 way calls you’re doing, etc. Always remember – WHATEVER you track you can improve, and whatever you don’t track, you can’t improve.

2. Have a clear intention with your coaching sessions, of a specific, tangible, measurable goal that you would like to achieve in your life. It’s easier to steer a moving ship – and if you know exactly where you’re headed, your coach will be more able to guide you.

3. Don’t whine to your mentor – they don’t need to hear your whining to guide you, they need to see what you’re doing, not doing, and the result that you either got or didn’t get, so they can help create specific course corrections in your business.

4. Be willing to follow through and complete ALL of the assignments that your mentor gives you, no matter what it takes.

If you’re open, ready, and willing, sometimes a great coach that will transform your life is just a phone call away – sometimes you need to pay, and you should be open and willing to doing so. Here’s my final thought for you, though:

When someone shows up in your life who is willing to take their time, knowledge, energy, and effort and POUR their heart and soul into you – thank your lucky stars, God, or whoever it is for you and be willing to go to the ends of the earth – because NOTHING will help you more in your business life than someone who is willing to take the time, no matter what it takes – to help you reach your goals. And if you want to transform your results in your business – be willing to coach your team, and take things to a whole new level…

How to Use Technology to Spice Up Your Business Presentations

How to Use Technology to Spice Up Your Business Presentations

Technology tips that can enhance business presentations.

Remember when business presentations consisted of PowerPoint slides in a darkened room that you could hardly see if you happened to be sitting in a bad spot? Welcome to the light!

Not only is sitting in the dark no longer necessary, every eyeball you want to see your presentation can – clearly and even interactively. And all of this is made possible with relatively inexpensive computer software that has eliminated the need for staid business presentations.

Don’t Present – Engage

The best business presentations engage your prospect. They go beyond showing a bunch of numbers on a screen and a series of nondescript pie charts (no matter how colorful).

Once a prospect is engaged, they tend to get more invested in the process. If they’re invested in the process, that means they’re thinking – they have a vision (or at least are forming one) of how your company can help them achieve their goals. You’re more than halfway to the sale when prospects are engaged like this.

And this is where your IT department can really help.

3 Ways Your IT Department Can Help You Select the Ideal Business Presentation Software

Involving your IT department before you purchase any business presentation software is critical because they are likely going to be the ones to install it, maintain it and troubleshoot it. To that end, following are three ways they can help you when it comes to your business presentations.

Your Operating System: A lot of business presentation software offers free downloads. You may try one out, like it and purchase it, only to find out that it’s not compatible with your firm’s operating system.

Your IT department or IT consulting firm will be able to tell you this before you get enamored with a particular brand and make a purchase.

Software Features: When searching for business presentation software, one of the things you’re going to find is that they are as interactive as you need them to be.  Hence, there’s a lot to choose from e.g., video, 3D graphics, music and interactive capabilities, to name a few.

What do you absolutely need? Can your current networking system handle the extra space that’s required? Will you need to upgrade?

Your IT department or IT consulting firm will be able to answer these questions. They can also keep you on track as far as getting only what you need in business presentation features – and not pay extra for unneeded bells and whistles.

Installation: While they work perfectly fine on the seller’s site and in the free trial version<img src="http://www.articlesfactory.com/pic/x.gif" alt="Article Submission" border="0", is it going to be so easy to get it to perform the same way onsite for you? Your IT department or IT consulting firm will be able to make sure that it all goes smoothly.

There’s no need to stay stuck in the last century when it comes to your business presentations. Use the rich features of this type of software to engage your prospect – and increase sales.

Setting Career Goals

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010
<img src="http://www.buzzle.com/img/articleImages/336364-12315-12.jpg" width="350" height="233" alt="Setting Career Goals" class="ImgBorder"

Setting career goals can play a crucial in role in determining your professional success. If you master the art of goal setting, then surely you can easily scale new heights in the professional field.

Importance of Setting Career Goals
Why is it so important to set career goals? Well, setting career goals is important, so that, you know the destination where you wish to reach. Setting career goals is different for every individual. Some want to become astronauts, some engineers, some basketball champions and some want to be actors. All of us have some goals and aspirations. During our school and college life, we are equipped with knowledge, so that, we can have the necessary skills to compete in this world. Setting career goals, first of all, gives us a clear picture of the path that we have to take. This increases our self esteem, confidence and mobilizes our energy on one single aim. As Earl Nightingale, an American motivational speaker says, “The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment.”

How to Set Career Goals
Many students are confused about setting career goals. Here are some effective guidelines for setting career goals and objectives.

Know What You Want!
Every individual is unique in this world. Some are good at sciences and some at sports. While some love to dive into the depths of literature, there are various others who find their passion in maths. In some cases, students are average in studies, however, they may show extraordinary potential in sports and games. Since childhood, we all have some inherent quality that can be called as our USP (unique selling proposition). So, ensure you know what is that one thing in which you can really excel and succeed. How to find your USP? Well, simple, your friends, parents and teachers must be knowing something in which you are very good at, may be baseball, maths, poetry writing, painting, music, etc. Parents and teachers must help the students to choose a career, that motivates and inspires them. If the child is unwilling to study law, well, don’t force him. If he loves basketball, why not give him a chance to live his dreams? So, first thing to remember while setting career goals is to choose the field as per your dreams.

Equip Yourself With Required Skills!
When you know what you want, all you have to do is to give yourself a professional training. You may be the swimming champion of your school and college, however, as you will enter the professional world, the competition will increase and you have to be ready. In fields related to studies, keep working hard and trying for admission in elite institutes. Keep upgrading your skills.

Identify Short and Long Term Goals!
Don’t plan out for the next 20 years of your life. If you are in high school, set yourself a target of 3 to 5 years. By the end of 3 to 5 years, you must have achieved that target. Divide the yearly targets into monthly and then monthly targets into weekly. Live each day by doing something to achieve your goals. Involve your parents, in the decision making process of choosing your career goal. Remember to avoid procrastination and other negative habits. Long term goals will be easily covered, once you start achieving the short term goals. Read more on career planning.

Keep Yourself Under the Scanner!
You are your own best critic. Keep analyzing and reviewing your career goal settings. Ask yourself questions like how can I improve my efficiency? How can I be more focused? Talk to parents and friends when you feel demotivated. One of the most important part of setting career goals is that you keep a regular check on your achievements. Reward yourself when you attain some goal.

The GROW Coaching Model

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

The GROW model is a coaching model that describes a very simple process that can be followed to help you work towards and to achieve your goals.

Goal

The first step is to understand what your goal is. Understanding your goal gives you a concrete objective towards which you can work, and the freedom to start doing so.

Make your goals SMART – goals that are Simple, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-based. This removes the pie-in-the- sky aspect of goal setting, and turns them into something that you can actually achieve. Having a goal such as ‘I would like to lose weight’ is difficult to measure and hence difficult to achieve. How about changing it to ‘I would like to lose 5 kg by December 2007′?

Without goals comes a lack of focus, and with no focus it is very easy to drift through life – just living from day to day, wondering why you are not achieving anything in life. How much harder is it to move forward without understanding where you are going?

Reality

The next step is to look at the current reality. Where are you in relation to your goal? Have you almost achieved your goal? Are you a long way away? Do you need to break the goal into smaller, more achievable goals? It may require a detailed and honest analysis of where you are, But having a deep understanding of where you are provides a very solid foundation of understanding what needs to happen.

Options

Once you understand your goal and your reality, the task is to find out how to start to move the reality towards the goal. At this stage in the process, you examine what options are available to you. This is where the planning takes place. There may be a single course of action, or there may be multiple options from which to choose. This is a good opportunity to go into some creative brainstorming, or to perform a SWOT analysis on the various options that are available to you.

Remember that at this stage you are not deciding which are the best options – that is for later. You are simply deciding on what the possible options are.

What

At this stage, we have examined the goal, we know where we are in respect to the goal, and we have examined the various options that we can follow to reach the goal. The final step is to examine the options, and to decide what the best option is to reach your goal. Note that you are not looking at the easiest option, but the best option. IE: which option is going to move you closest towards your goal?

Working the Plan

Working through the GROW model provides a very simple yet powerful framework to support you in achieving your goals. However, the work really happens not in the planning, but in the working of your plan. While working your plan, keep in mind how you are progressing towards your goal. Keeping examining what is and is not working in your plan. What might have seemed as a great option (the WHAT) might not have been the best choice . So try to have the flexibility to make adjustments when it becomes necessary.

Where to use GROW

The GROW model can be used in almost any aspect of your personal or business life, including health, wealth, team goals and career aspirations. Basically, GROW will work anywhere in your life that you are working towards a goal. If you would like to find out more, or to have some assistance working through the GROW model, please give us a call, and we will gladly assist.

Historical Note

There is a lot of uncertainty as to the origins of the GROW model. Several sources cite several different authors. To the best of my knowledge, it was created by Graham Alexander and brought to the fore by Sir John Whitmore.

How to Become a Focused Person

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

It is common for everyone to experience a lack of focus from time to time. Some people struggle with it more than others. For some people it can pose a real problem. There are things that you can do to train your mind to stay focused and get the things done that you need to.

Through-out your day and week and life, there are many places that you need to be focused in your life. It can be during a work meeting, a training session or an academic class. There are other areas that you need to be focused as well, such as finishing a project at work, working from home or trying to get into shape. All of these things require you to stay focused so that you can finish the job or stay with the information being addressed.

It is uncomfortable for anyone to come away from a business meeting and not know what just happened. Many people day dream during meetings where they are not directly involved. This is a problem because at anytime someone could ask you an opinion and as an adult it`s not appropriate to shrug your shoulders and slide down in your chair as you may have done in grade three.

Another reason you need to stay focused in a meeting is that there might have been some issues discussed that you need to be aware of. After the meeting another co-worker could ask you about it and not knowing is not very professional. There are some tips to staying focused during a business meeting even if it is utterly boring.

You will want to clear you mind of all other things. This is not the time to think about buying new winter tires, shoes or a personal gym. You really need to keep your mind focused on what you are doing at the time you are doing it. To help you stay focused you can jot down notes, that way you are writing what you are hearing and perhaps it will help you retain what you are hearing.

Try to get yourself involved in the conversation if you can. Even if it is not about you, even adding the odd point might help you get through it.

If you are being trained for something at work, it is crucial to stay focused on the material being taught. Many people lose focus and have a hard time retaining what they just heard. A trick is to ask questions about everything even if you kind of understand what is going on. Asking questions will keep you aware of what is happening and will lead to further explanations and perhaps a better understanding for you.

Staying focused might require some careful planning. If you are a person who struggles with focusing then creating a plan in your head before you start something might be a proactive solution!

For example if you want to finish a project at home, you can think of ways that you can achieve that. You might know that distractions at home might keep you from your task. So it might be proactive to take the kids somewhere else, give the dog a huge bone to chew on and put your phone on vibrate. You might make a mental note that you won`t answer the phone unless it`s an emergency and that music might or might not help with your task. Set up a time slot to get your project done and create realistic time frames so that you will succeed.

Darling Calls for Urgent Review of Biofuel Policies

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

Alistair Darling has demanded an urgent review of international biofuel programs as part of a plan to tackle the world’s mounting food crisis. The Chancellor said he had asked the World Bank to produce an analysis – for June’s G7 meeting of global leaders – on the impact of green policies, including America and Europe’s biofuel programs, on global food shortages.

‘This is an urgent problem,’ said Darling, who was speaking in Washington at a meeting of G7 leaders. ‘People across the world will say, “Why didn’t you see this coming?” when it is staring us in the face. We have got to take action.’

He added: ‘It would be a profound mistake if we get into a situation where we are growing corn that is essential for feeding people and converting it into fuel. That is not sustainable.’

The move to re-examine links between food shortages and global biofuel policies comes as riots have gripped many of the world’s poorest nations. Demonstrators have protested, with increasing violence, about the soaring prices of wheat, rice, soya and other staples.

In Dhaka yesterday thousands of factory workers rampaged through the Bangladesh capital in protest against rising food prices, leaving at least 50 people injured. Similarly, in Egypt, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Mozambique, Senegal and Cameroon there have been demonstrations, sometimes involving fatalities, as starving, desperate people have taken to the streets.

The soaring cost of food has been a key issue among the world’s finance ministers, gathered in Washington this weekend for the spring meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

Darling added that the problem was also hitting Britain’s shoppers. ‘People can see the price of bread has gone up in the shops’, he said. ‘For the first time in a generation we are seeing inflationary pressures that are not home-grown but are being imported. Food prices are rising. Energy prices are rising. Commodity prices are rising.’

Darling said there was an urgent need to provide developing countries with the infrastructure to enable them to grow more food and urged a speedy conclusion of global trade talks, which he said would open up markets and reduce subsidies.

The US policy of subsidizing its corn-belt farmers to devote their crops to fuel has come under fierce criticism at the meeting in Washington. In a study of the causes of rising commodity prices last week, the IMF found that America’s appetite for biofuel had been a major factor. More biofuel crop production meant reductions were being made in grain and soya growing, pushing up prices.

As a result, Robert Zoellick, the president of the World Bank, urged countries that were subsidizing biofuels to make generous contributions to the World Food Program, to meet the urgent need to get emergency food supplies to the world’s poorest people.

Zoellick said rocketing food prices had set back the fight against poverty by seven years. Responding to Zoellick’s call for $500m to be pledged this weekend by rich countries for emergency food aid, Darling said: ‘We are happy to play our part in that. This is a sortable problem providing people have the political will.’

Darling warned that, without concerted action to boost food supplies and tackle hunger on developing countries, the millennium development goals would be missed. ‘If the developed world is serious about meeting the millennium development goals – and we are currently way off track – we have got to do something about rising food prices,’ he said.

Tony Juniper, director of green campaign group Friends of the Earth, said the dash to grain-based biofuels should now be halted, because the unintended consequences have become so damaging.

‘Policymakers have inadvertently created a competition between the drivers of big vehicles and people who do not have enough food to eat,’ he said.

How to Create a Workout Plan

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

Working out on a regular basis is important but being consistent about it is a tough job. More often than not, exercising every day becomes too boring. It sounds very exciting to be in shape, with a well toned and fit body, but once you embark on the journey towards your fitness goals, you realize that you need a little more than just your will power to keep up the energy and enthusiasm.

So what is it that you need? What will keep you going even when you are too lazy to even wake up in the morning for your workout session? The answer is pretty simple; all you need is a well drawn out and a detailed workout plan! This schedule that you make will constantly remind you of your destination and keep you focused. Like in any other venture, be it your business, or studies, a clear plan is very important for your fitness training too. A good workout plan will help you:

-Set goals

-Evaluate yourself regularly.

-Keep a track of your progress.

How do you make a workout plan? It might get a little confusing as you have to devote some time to each and every part of your body, starting from your chest to your stomach, from your back to your waist, from your arms to your legs. You may find this a tricky task. The best bet is to take the help of a certified personal trainer. He will know best what your body needs and can help you create the most effective plan for your exercises. Here is how you can get started with the process:

Step 1: The first task is to decide at what time of the day you want to exercise. Are you a morning person or will evening be more suitable to you? Once you have decided that distribute the different exercises evenly throughout the week. Keep a track of the time that you want to allot to your daily workouts so that you get enough space to do all the exercises that you need in order to reach your fitness goals.

Step 2: It is always prudent to sprinkle in different kinds of exercises everyday. That way you will not get bored with your regular fitness training and at the same time you will be giving attention to all the parts of your body. So if on Monday you are concentrating on your abs, let Tuesday be devoted to your chest, while you can keep the leg exercises for Wednesday.

Step 3: Spread out the schedule over a span of five days every week. Do the various exercises you need on different days. If you are doing aerobic on Monday, do weight training on Tuesday and then repeat these on alternate days. Keep the weekends off so that your body gets adequate rest.

Step 4: Maintain a daily journal where you note down the progress you make every day. That will tell you how to gradually increase your exercise time and which are the areas that need more of your attention.

This entire process can be best executed under the expert guidance of a personal trainer. Once you have the plan, adhere to it as far as possible. Then, you will soon reach your fitness goals!

Learning how to achieve your goals is as simple as studying any one of the proven courses on goal-setting then applying what you learn. Unfortunately though, a great amount of people have no idea what they want!

Ask them what they don’t want and they could talk for an hour. However, when you ask them what they do want they will freeze-up or rhyme off some generic comment like “I want to be happy” or, “I want more money”.

We all know that without goal you cannot create a concrete vision of what you want and therefore you cannot program your mind to help you get it! Without a definite destination you cannot know how to read a map to your advantage.

Likewise, without a definite desire or set of desires you cannot formulate a goal. Without a goal you cannot start to direct your life and take control of your destiny.

The key to setting goals is to know what you want. The key to knowing what you want is to first look at what you don’t want!

Take an area of your life were you are dissatisfied. List all the things that make you feel dissatisfied. If you are the type of person who finds it hard to identify what you want then this exercise should be very easy for you.

Now beside each of those dissatisfaction write down what way it makes you feel. This is important so don’t skip this step!

Now take another piece of paper and for each point on your list write down the opposite (or positive) feeling from the one you previously wrote down. Then brainstorm and ask yourself what thing, person, event, circumstance or situation would give me that feeling.

When you get down your list you should be able to identify several things that you could turn into goals.
