The Ideal Pdp Page

Show what you are. If you are not showing what you have to offer your web visitors, you run the risk that they go away from your website page. And that would be a waste. Specially when you’re able to offer them what they seek. A nice clear model detail page is a must. Where to pay attention to when creating your product detail webpage?

1. Clarity on your product detail page!

It seems obvious, but make sure that your product or service detail page features the item you want to bring to the attention. Be clear! Yet there are numerous product detail page online that are chaotic, not up to date and not user-friendly. Clearness is vital.

That means present all information about the technology in a comprehensible and readable form. There are quite enough product pages, where you as a surfer are trying to find a needle in a hay stag. Therefore, seek advise from tables and a transparent menu selection.

Take a look closely as had you been the visitor for your own individual product detail page. Do you see directly what the page is about? How long do you view the results before you have found what you’re looking for?

If you don’t find what you’re looking for within two to three instants, you will click away. And that’s exactly what the visitor of your product detail page will do too. So ensure you provide the information that is logically to expect of a page about this product.

2. Be conscious of variations in visitor wishes

Be aware that the visitor might not immediately would like to order and needs more info or would like to compare the product with an alternative product that you also have on your pages. Give the possibility to click through over there and make sure that option is also seen.

The customer that is looking for something slightly different, must see the click-through possibility, within those two to three moment to see, otherwise he is leaving your web site. So do not make him seek for the info!

3. Where do you click on what?

Quality is important. Especially when the prospective customer’s wish to buy the product or do some other action, which matches exactly to why you have created the product detail url. Make sure that it is easy and obvious where to click. And make clicking a logical consequence of what you show before.

Do not make it hard for your customers to find the button, a bad example is to put that click-through option at the bottom of the page so the visitor is required to scroll all the way up down. And ensure the button stand out and can’t be missed. Even if someone does not read text on the pages.

4. What if the customer wishes to order?

Ensure that the customers see an transparent webpage when he clicks the button to order. There’s nothing more annoying than being ready to buy something but not knowing how to. So make the ordering procedure very clear and if possible, not too long.

You may include options to select on your product detail page already. This tells the shopper all you have to offer and he can see the various options without leaving the page. You can even give the option to calculate the price, to prevent any surprises for your client at the end of the ordering process.

What is a good illustration of a product detail page?

Much of the information cited above is very logical. Yet it remains difficult to view your own individually styled page from the point of view of a customer. Therefore it is very useful to view a product detail page which is well-made.

Three good examples are the product detail pages on the KPN site: check out the HTC Desire , page to get a good feel.

You obtain a lot of information on the website page. But it is easy to scan. It is clear where to click, if you want to order, but also if you’d like to view other models. And you’ve got the opportunity to check out different subscriptions in order to decide the most important thing to your business.

What is important for a good product detail page, summarized:

- Make clear the page is for the product where the product detail website page is all about.

- Satisfy the demands of visitors to your page, even if he’s got another need.

- Make sure the click-through option is easy to find and stands out.

- Make the ordering process fast and translucent.

The Value of Putting an About Author/Owner page on Website

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Let me ask you a question, Do you buy from people you don’t know? Sometimes only, right? Do you believe the claims people make even if you don’t know, hum only sometimes right?

Just like you, many people and readers are curious about the creators and writers of the products they buy and read.

In todays world, almost almost everyone have their own insights and perspective about things. Lets say on the internet, even a newbie could give you his perspective about internet marketing, but the question is, would you simply believe and agree? Of course not!

As you conduct a search in Search Engines, you probably saw a lot of websites that are offering information about the keywords you typed in. And somehow, I do believe that you don’t value them equally.

With regards to internet marketing and reviewing of products, we normally visit blogs for this kind of information because it can be good to get personal opinions.

People are born selective. They are very choosy. And they are bias because they only listen to those they wanted to listen with. I personally think when looking at a website it is important to look at the about page or authors page.

Again, people don’t easily believe that’s why they see the credentials of every marketer they meet. They will browse the level of expertise, years of experience, life successes, and previous earnings.

In short, an author page help provide and satisfy the curiosity that your readers have.

So what does an Author Page consist of:

1.) Author Background.
2.) Achievements and Accomplishments
3.) Personal Credentials
4.) Personal Interests
5.) List of Business He / she is engaged with
6.) Personal Motto
7.) Mission / Vision to accomplish

This are just a few items which you can list on your Author Page.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of information which you can list however it’s a good start. You have the full authority and freedom to list anything you what on that page. But listen, all data’s that should be seen there should be all about you.
