The Basics of Internet Marketing for Chiropractors

Thursday, December 30th, 2010

If you’re not there, you’re left behind. No, we’re not talking about the latest chiropractic convention or uptown seminar. We’re talking about the Internet, the number one place your patients are going to turn when they’re looking for a chiropractor. If you haven’t launched your own Internet marketing campaign and established a presence on the web for you and your practice, you’re going to lost patients to people with half your talent and twice your techno savvy.

You deserve better than that.

1) Build a website. It’s absolutely impossible to establish a web presence without first building a website. Okay, not entirely true-you can list your practice in hundreds of professional listings and hope it’s sufficient-but that’s going to do you a bit of good when prospective patients come looking for information about your practice and can’t find it.

A good website should focus on keywords (mentioned below) and contain ample information about what services you provide, your education and where and when they can schedule an appointment.

2) Choose your keywords. When patients come looking for your practice they’re almost definitely going to be using a search engine (most likely Google). That means they’re going to be typing words like “find a chiropractor,” “chiropractics,” “chiropractic care,” “chiropractor,” etc., etc. A quick look at any of the Internet marketing keyword tracking tools available on the web will show you which ones are pulling in the most traffic.

Don’t randomly choose keywords based on their popularity. Use your common sense, and choose the ones most likely to appeal to your patients. That’s the best way to get the search engines working for you instead of the other way around!

3) Information is the main product being marketed on the Internet today. Your patients don’t come to you because they’re curious about what they do. They come to you because they want to know what’s wrong with them and, more importantly, what you can do about it. Adding articles on chiropractic topics and common ailments to your website will make you a source of information-and your patients will keep coming back for more.

4) Use social media to your advantage. Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, My Space…these are the tools today’s Internet marketing prodigies are using to succeed. Keep your keywords in mind, update regularly, and see what it can do for your practice’s reputation.

5) Get the word out there. Viral marketing is the Internet’s primary strength-the ability of one patient to pass the message on to another, and another, and another, and another. By posting comments on blogs and forums, and providing ample opportunities for your patients to get involved in these communities as well, you stand an excellent chance of boosting your web traffic and your patient volume.

Internet marketing is a major tool that you need to have access to if you’re going to build your practice. If you’re not comfortable launching your own campaign, speak to a coach or a professional marketing agency to help get you started. Don’t let the Web 2.0 era and the Age of the Internet leave your practice behind.

How to Succeed in Network Marketing

Monday, December 27th, 2010

About 95% of marketers fail in Network Marketing because they are not prepared to do whatever it takes to succeed. They have the mindset that if they do their best, they will have success but that is not true. Doing your best is just not enough, you need to do whatever it takes to succeed in Network Marketing. The two phrases may sound similar but there is actually a difference between them.

Firstly, you need to understand that a business model like network marketing requires sales. The no sales sharing that most marketing representatives have been told is only a myth and this will shock most of them. If you observe human nature, everyone who is born is born a salesman. Why do I say that? The reason is that when we are a baby, we will cry to get our parents to feed us milk and when we are young, we will do anything to get our parents to buy for us the toy that we saw on television.

Even when you go for dates, you will “sell” yourself to get the other party to be attracted to you. You are “selling” yourself when you go for job interviews. When you convince your friends to watch a certain movie, you are actually selling them your idea! So who said that we are not born a salesman?

If you want to achieve success in network marketing, you need to master the sales process. When you master the sales process, you will then be able to to sell the correct way.

Even though network marketing is a selling business, it also involves teaching. But it is still the selling process that get things moving.

The first thing that you need to have is a viable product that people will buy. The best if your product has a killer angle or concept to it. This makes the selling of the product easier through the network.

Once you have sold prospects on the idea that the product works, you need to sell them the business. But don’t sell the business like a sleazy sales person. You have to be careful about your posture. The network marketing industry has gained some bad reputation due to forced and high pressure selling. You don’t need to resort to those unprofessional tactics to make them a business partner.

You have to show your prospects the proper posture of a network marketing representative. You also need to brand yourself as an expert because people join because of you and not just the network marketing company. You are the main reason they join the business.

Once your prospects join, you will need to sell them the idea that they can sell the business too. Your business will not grow if your members does not know how to duplicate your success. With the right motivation, mentoring and sales psychology, you will build a team of motivated business partners that will grow a successful business.

How to Choose a Network Marketing System

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010
<img src="http://www.buzzle.com/img/articleImages/282832-59113-42.jpg" width="106" height="86" alt="How to Choose a Network Marketing System" class="ImgBorder"

A good network marketing system can literally mean the difference between a whole lot of success and little to no success at all.

If you’re in network marketing then you know that creating leads and doing good follow up is at the core of building a successful business. If you’re in MLM, then must also know the importance of having consistent upfront income coming in to help build your business.

The problem is that many network marketers are not taught how to do proper follow-up, especially in the Internet age. They are also not shown the other way to build an mlm business – and that’s leading with retail products…also known as retail to recruit.

It’s no secret that building a network marketing business takes a lot of hard work and effort, not to mention an extreme amount of focus. Creating leads takes time as well. As an entrepreneur it is your job to get work done in your business in the most efficient way possible. After all, your time is worth something.

Outside of building your business, you may have other responsibilities like taking care of sick parents, raising your children, or working a full-time job. So you’ve probably have a lot on your “plate” anyway and the business you’re trying to build just adds more to your “to do list.”

So, this is why a lot of network marketers still struggle even with the help of the Internet. There’s just a lot of work to be done; usually you’re the only one doing it if you don’t have the help of a spouse or business partner.

This is where marketing systems come in. A lot of people only see network marketing systems as a way to sell products. They don’t see it for what it really does beyond selling…i.e. following up, creating leads, and building your list. Those are very important ingredients when building a business online.

As you can see there are necessary things you must do if you want to build a business successfully on the Internet. And as you now know, it can be very, very time consuming, especially if you’re like most people and have other things going on in your life.

This is why it is very important that you choose a network marketing system that is going to aid you the most in building your business on the ‘net. If you’ve ever tried a system and then quickly realized that it’s not what it was hyped up to be, then you have to know that not all systems are created equally.

When you’re looking at a network marketing system, you have to keep these important things in mind if you want to be successful at Internet network marketing: list-building, creating leads, monetizing those leads, follow-up, and ad tracking.

These are what the big successful Internet gurus do to make the big bucks on the Internet. If you want to successfully build a business on the ‘net too, then you’ll have to focus on these same areas.

Choosing a network marketing system that is built with the Internet in mind is the best system for you to use. You’ll want to stay away from systems that don’t let you build your own list from within the system itself.

You also want to stay away from systems that are replicated web pages; in other words you can’t change them or alter them in any way. You want the system and web pages branded to you.

If you keep in mind that you’re an entrepreneur and that your time is very valuable. Once you really understand how Internet marketing works, you’ll be able to see through those systems that fall short of helping you build your business.

Postcard Marketing Model #22: Spark Repeat Business

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

Did you know that it costs five times as much to sell to a new customer as to sell something else to the same customer? Although this fact is far from a marketing secret, it’s a rare company that takes full advantage of this important dynamic. Online, you can follow up a purchase using autoresponders. Offline, you can inspire a buyer to purchase again and again with postcards.

Here are some inexpensive and powerful ways of using postcards to inspire repeat business.

1. “Thank you”s. Three to seven days after a purchase, mail a simple postcard to the purchaser saying “thank you.” Even if the postcard isn’t very personalized, in itself it makes a significant impression. By getting across the message that you don’t take customers for granted, it creates good will and encourages the customer to shop with you again and tell friends about your company. Don’t forget too that postcards often get posted on refrigerators, slipped into briefcases or file folders or propped by the telephone as reminders.

For this kind of a postcard, try for something eye-catching, unusual, scenic or humorous rather than a clichéd image. A “thank you” makes an especially deep impression when the purchase was downloaded. Intensify the “wow” experienced by the customer by signing postcards with handwriting in ink before they go out.

2. “Stick message.” Information marketers recommend a message congratulating the purchaser, providing instructions on how to get started with the product and reiterating the benefits of the item purchased. While this is often enclosed with the product, it can also be sent afterwards on a postcard. Stick messages reduce refunds and lay the groundwork for a great long-term customer relationship. Include contact information – your email address and/or phone number – and invite questions for even greater effectiveness.

3. Unannounced bonuses. Deepen customer loyalty by sending some or all of your buyers a postcard that they can redeem for a gift by bringing it into the store, calling your office or using a coupon code at your web site. I can still remember my surprise when online bookseller Amazon sent me a branded travel mug out of the blue and Google sent me a little cookbook and apron for being a good customer. The postcard is a cheaper yet still effective way to deliver a bonus gift, as well as to train customers to pay attention to your mailings.

4. Revised versions. Use a postcard to let past buyers know that a revised version of the product is now available. Of course not everyone will want to upgrade, but such a card helps maintain the thread of your relationship with each customer and helps you stay top of mind when a related need arises.

5. Complementary products. Figure out which other products might appeal to those who bought Product X, and create postcards pitching one of the complementary products at a time. Send them a month apart. When the marketing copy makes clear the connection with what they’ve already bought, customers tend to like being pitched. Again, recipients start to welcome your follow-ups and become more likely to recommend you to others and to repurchase themselves.

6. Reorder reminder. For consumable purchases like vitamins, toner cartridges, auto maintenance services and so on, a well-timed postcard letting your customer know they may run out soon and giving them a special offer if they reorder now usually gets results. Such a program almost always adds to your bottom line, because when customers order before they use up what they have, they purchase more times per year.

7. Seasonal offers. Contact customers by postcard to let them know how you can help them with tasks that are especially appropriate for a certain time of the year. Be creative, and the postcards can miraculously bring in revenue during predictable slow times. For instance, a landscaping company can offer stone wall or driveway maintenance just before winter sets in, or a B&B can send a “staycation special” postcard to past visitors when gas prices have spiked and fewer folks are traveling.

8. Useful information. Simply staying in touch reminds customers you exist and reminds them to call you about a current need. So monthly or quarterly postcards to your customer base could present snippets of useful content, such as recipes, statistics, case studies, industry news, a short editorial or opinion piece, and so on. Be sure to include a call to action on such an information piece, such as an invitation to visit your online catalog or to call about an upcoming project.

Don’t forget that postcards are versatile! Besides sending them out in the mail, you can enclose many of the above types of cards with a purchase, hand them out at a trade show or stack them on the giveaway table at a networking event. Even though they’re designed to be mailed, postcards are much more magnetic than a typical invoice, sales sheet or business card.

MLM Abundance Secrets – How to Be Free in the Network Marketing Industry

Monday, November 15th, 2010

7 years ago when I started in the MLM profession, I had the hardest time succeeding that you could possibly think of. Every way I tried to succeed was met with frustration and despair. I was always wondering what the secret was that allowed those ‘gurus’ on the stage to make ridiculous passive incomes from home, while I struggled 8-10 hours per day to eek out a measly living from my job.

I tried absolutely everything that you could imagine. I made a list of my friends and family to start, and I called everyone. Certain of my new found future success from the completion of calling all of my friends, family, and relatives, I waited with an air of anticipation…

…An interesting thing happened:

Six months later I was JUST AS BROKE as when I began. In fact, I was significantly more broke. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t discover the secrets to MLM success. Since I couldn’t find ‘The Secret’, I quit my company thinking I could find it elsewhere.

I worked at that company for a full year, buying leads, attending conventions, making lists, wandering around in shopping malls, placing ads in newspapers – I even went door to door trying to sell my products, if you can imagine something so stupid…

…Finally, I collapsed in a figurative pile of exhaustion, broken from a level of failure I would have never been able to guess.

For some unexplainable reason, I just wouldn’t quit. 3 years passed by in utter and complete failure. In the end, when I was about ready to quit altogether, Five years into my life as a ‘MLM Grinder’ I figured out the secret that was the common denominator through every successful network marketing experience that I had ever encountered.

You see, I hadn’t yet had any success of my own, but I had the pleasure of meeting more than a thousand successful MLM distributors. I would ask them again and again ‘what’s the secret to success in the MLM industry?’

Each time, I got a different answer, and finally, I discovered by accident that there was ONE COMMON DENOMINATOR that powered all of their success. Are you ready for the MLM secret?

The only secret to MLM success is that a leaders ability to build an organization is directly related to the size, quality, and relationship that they have with their list.

So there is only one factor, one ‘secret’ that will determine your MLM success – the list will power your business.

You may be asking – ‘huh?’ Well, I met people who swore that the secret to success in MLM was making a list of their friends and family, calling them up, and inviting everyone over to your house to show them the plan. These people were very successful doing something that frustrated me to no end. Interesting.

I met other people who swore that the secret to MLM success was meeting people through business networking events. They would attend trade shows, luncheons, speakers associations, and the like all working to build quality relationships with people of influence.

And then there were others who had entire empires built online, and their method was the same – that is, their primary strategy was building a vast list of people through careful online marketing campaigns. So on the surface, the secret to their MLM success seemed to be Internet marketing.

I could give you example after example, however the story remains the same. So my actual flaw was the quality, size, and relationship I had with my broke friends and relatives list – while my upline had ran a corporation, owned several companies, and was a professional consultant – of course his list was better.

I had a list of my broke relatives – and my Internet marketing friends had a list of 30,000 hungry entrepreneurs who hung on their every word.

So what should you do with this enlightening information? Well, you need to take your skills into account, take a look at marketing systems, and build a list of as many qualified contacts that you possibly can, as fast as you possibly can – and if you do that, your days of struggle in the MLM profession will be a thing of the past. Forever.

When I applied the strategies I learned, in less than 12 months I built a list of more than 30,000 contacts – part time. I’m sure you know the ending – my story is now one of prosperity. My advice is for you to learn as much about online business development as you can, because I have found that it is the easiest, simplest, fastest way to build a HUGE database of hungry people to market to. Even though you will be building online, always remember that the other ways still work – they just don’t work for everyone. What you really need is the best system for you.

I wish you the best of success in your prosperity!

Many people start in their network marketing business thinking they are going to make a ton of money selling the products or marketing the services. This is so far from the truth. The only way you can make a lot of money in your network marketing business is to duplicate yourself. Meaning you have to the ability to sponsor people and train them so they can become successful business owners themselves.

If you are looking for a way to explode your team then your business really needs to have a training program that rocks. The right business with the right training program will attract many different kinds of people. Some people will have no experience what so ever in the network marketing arena and will really need a step by step plan to grow their business. You will also attract successful business people. They are looking for a business that has a training program so they can use it to build their enterprise.

Make Sure You Have A Training Program In Place

In my experience you are going to find people who need to be held by the hand and walked through getting started. They are going to need emails, possibly web casts, and I’m sure phone calls to encourage them they are on track. Then you are going to find the other extreme of people who want no help at all. They are going to ask for links, maybe some written instruction and they want you to get out of their way. In either extreme you need a training program that works for all kinds of people.

In many network marketing programs the training starts out teaching about the products or service, the opportunity itself, and then will share or explain a marketing strategy. At some point though you are going to have to different marketing strategies in the training. Many businesses have the basic training in place but have nothing in place to train people how to grow and keep in contact with a huge downline.

As you grow your business you need to continue your own training. You need to research successful entrepreneurs and businesses to see the different systems they have in place that has grown their own company. Are You an MLM Boxer Or MLM Cage Fighter? Traditional Vs Internet Network Marketing

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the fastest growing sport in the world right now.

It went from being referred to as ‘human cockfighting’ and getting banned from TV, to now being heralded as the next big thing in all of sports.

In stark contrast, boxing is suffering a slow but sure death.

The once dominant giant of the fight industry is quickly falling behind and taking a backseat to MMA.

The ‘sweet science’ is not so sweet anymore.

Boxing promoter Don King doesn’t run the show in Vegas anymore, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White does.

The fight industry is changing and evolving.

To keep up, the fighters have been forced to evolve as well.

Today, it’s not enough to be able to box. Throwing and blocking punches doesn’t quite cut it anymore.

To be considered a fighter today, you need to know how to kickbox, and you also need to have a ‘ground game’ i.e. be versed in submissions.

This is quickly becoming the minimum requirement in the industry.

So, what does all this have to do with you or your network marketing business?

In one word: EVERYTHING.

Just like the fight industry, the MLM industry is evolving, and it’s evolving just as fast, if not faster.

It’s not enough to make a 100 name-list of your family and friends and invite them to your opportunity meeting anymore.

It’s no longer cool to call up complete strangers on the phone, and tell them that you are looking for “serious, self-motivated individuals to partner with”.

Do some network marketers still do this and make millions?

Sure, some do. Even in the fight industry, top class boxers still earn more than top class MMA fighters.

But this situation is changing, and everyone knows it.

The boxers know it, the MMA fighters know it, and the ‘Industry’ knows it.

In the very near future, MMA fighters will be earning much more than boxers.

Unfortunately, in network marketing, the industry as a whole still doesn’t seem to get it.

Even some of the top earning network marketers don’t seem to get it.

The majority of the training by MLM companies focuses on personal development and traditional, old – school prospecting tactics (boxing).

Don’t get me wrong. Personal development and prospecting are skills that every network marketer must have.

What I mean is that these should not be the ONLY skills you have.

To compete in today’s market, it’s becoming increasingly necessary to be able to leverage the internet to build your business.

Just like boxers have to develop a ground game and learn to kick box just to be able to be respected as fighters, network marketers have to develop their internet marketing skills.

Just like the fight industry, where these skills are becoming the minimum requirement, internet marketing skills will soon become the minimum requirement for every network marker.

The battlefield is not a ring anymore. It’s a CAGE.

It’s also not just your typical cage, it’s called THE OCTAGON.

That’s right. No more cushy, colorful ropes. It’s now a cold, hard steel cage.

Every network marketer will soon need to learn internet marketing, and learn it well, just to be able to survive and stay competitive.

So, having said that, are you an MLM Boxer or MLM Cage Fighter?

Just so you know, being an MLM Cage Fighter doesn’t mean being cute and chanting “Web 2.0″ and other “buzzwords” every single chance you get.

It means waking up every morning to practice and prepare for a cage fight.

It’s not enough to read personal development books and listen to motivational CDs anymore. You need to read internet marketing books and courses.

Not only do you have to study these books and courses, you have to apply what you learn, as fast as you can.

You also need to have a mentor.

Just like an MMA fighter, you need to work on your boxing (personal development and phone/presentation skills), kickboxing (internet marketing skills) and ground/submission game (I have no idea what to put here, maybe Web 2.0?).

Don’t get discouraged by the all the different aspects of internet marketing. Everyone starts from square one.

Take it one step at a time. Learn one skill, apply it as fast as you can, and move on to the next skill.

If you suck at writing copy, make videos while you learn how to write good copy.

If you have no clue how to make videos, work on another skill as you learn how to make them.

Or simply just outsource what you can’t do well.

Buy marketing books and courses, and get coaching from internet marketing experts.

Never get stuck, and never stand still. Always be learning, improving, and EVOLVING.

Any average network marketer with good internet marketing skills will soon be able to dominate an excellent network marketer with poor internet marketing skills.

Any average professional MMA fighter will always stand a better chance of winning a street fight against a boxing champion.

Why? Because he has more weapons and options. He can stand up and box, he can throw kicks, and he can also take him down and submit him (my personal favorite). All the boxer can do is “box.”

All it takes is one good leg kick from a lightweight MMA fighter to take down a heavyweight boxing champion, shatter his confidence, make him cry like a baby, and lose the fight.

Don’t be one dimensional in your home based business, be multi – dimensional.

Online Marketing Tools That Will Help You Succeed In Network Marketing

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

In the age of the internet, it is pretty rare that you can’t start up your computer and search a subject and not find what you are searching for. Where network marketing has traditionally been a face-to-face business, it is starting to see a shift to the internet for help. There are hundreds of online marketing tools available to help with this shift and here are just a few that can help the serious network marketer make a smooth transition from face-to-face to online marketing.

Social Media is at All Time Highs

There is no better place these days to connect with people than through social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. With over half a billion users on Facebook, this allows network marketers to search out more like minded people with similar interests, share their products or services and just build a relationship with someone who they otherwise would never have been able to meet. Through social media is has become the norm to make friends with people you have never met face-to-face and probably never will. The secret to using social media as an online marketing tool is to really build that relationship, search out groups that have similar interests and ask a lot of questions without leading with your business. No one wants a business pitch on a social site. You never want to lead in with business. Get to know someone first to see if they are qualified or interested in what you are doing.

Get Those Thoughts on Paper

Article Marketing is a very under-utilized online marketing tool that can help in many ways. Basically the concept of article marketing is to write content that offers value to the reader so they come back for more. If you are in network marketing, you want to write about things that will offer value to other network marketers or those interested in pursuing network marketing. The rule of thumb with Article writing is that you need to make sure your articles are keyword rich so they rank on search engines thus they are actually seen. You also want to make sure to submit your articles to well known directories and also to as many directories as you can. An easy time saving way to do this is to purchase an article submitter that will automatically submit the content.

People Like Visual

With the internet, it is so easy to be fooled or to be misled. Video marketing is a great online marketing tool that more and more people are using to generate leads. Video marketing has become a must have in the network marketing world. Like article marketing, your videos need to be that of value to the audience you are looking to ensnare. With videos you always want to make sure to say who you are, a short summary of why you are cutting a video, have some valuable, relevant points and then a call to action of what you want the person who is watching to do. Also post to as many sites that will accept videos for the most exposure. Videos tend to work well to generate a following which is especially important when you are trying to build a list of people to talk with like in network marketing.

Again, the online marketing tools that are available out there are endless, but knowing the proper ways to use them will take you much further than not.

The Compensation Plan

The compensation plan with AshMax is based on a 5×5 matrix compensation structure. The matrix assumes that everyone will sponsor at least 5 people into FTS and GDI through AshMax. With your matrix full of 3905 people, you are able to make $22,295 every month. At least that is what they tell you on their website.

The Cost and Challenge

The cost of signing up in AshMax is Free, but you still have to pay a total of $25 ($10 GDI and $15 FTS) to make an income. AshMax gives you a 20 day challenge to sponsor at least 5 people within that time frame. By accomplishing this, you will be done for ever. There is a flip side. If you are unable to sponsor 5 people in 20 days you are removed from the system.

My Thoughts

I really like how the system is setup to weed out the tire kickers and individuals that jump from one opportunity to the next. Just about anyone who has been involved in MLM or network marketing understands the frustrations from having to deal with the tire kickers and opportunity hoppers.

There is one thing that concerns me. I don’t understand how you can make $22K per month paying only $25 per month per person. Some of the numbers don’t seem to make sense, but I am not saying that this company is not legitimate. I do believe that if someone knows how to market their business online and puts in the work, they can easily sponsor 5 people within 20 days.

How to Market AshMax

Now I need to tell you the proper way of marketing your business online. When many people get into online marketing, they tend to promote their company up front. Many people do it in ways that annoy the heck out of people. Every day I get a tons of emails telling me about how great someone’s opportunity is.

They try to convince me to join by telling me how ground floor the opportunity is, that I will be getting a ton of spillover, etc. However, people are not interested in joining businesses. They are interested in joining people.

When someone is presented with a business opportunity, they will usually go to Google and do research on the company. If they like it they will join a leader they feel that will help them. You don’t want to be that person that introduces your opportunity only to have them join someone other than you.

This is why you need to learn how to brand and market yourself as an expert. This is called attraction marketing. People don’t join companies or marketing systems, they join people. You need to learn attraction marketing so that you can attract people to join you in your AshMax Business.
