5 Tips To Help You Profit From Your Email List

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

The money is in the list. If you come across an internet business no matter the size without an opt-in list chances are they are not making a lot of money.

But, only a tiny fraction actually joins an opt-in list. Why? Many people find email advertising of a product or service intrusive and annoying. The key is to provide a good newsletter along with quality advertising material. Once you do that, your list will grow quite nicely. This can also be achieved by having good content on your site. If people like what they see and read on your website, then you can bet they will want more. Newsletters can attract them back to your site by giving a tease of information, the rest of which can be found on your website.

Build a huge RESPONSIVE list. The more subscribers you have, the more money you can make.

1) Put advertisements in your newsletter and/or on your website. There are many corporations who will be willing to pay to put their banners and ads on a list with many subscribers. Your newsletter could be placed with many ads and each one spells money. And no matter what talk you may have heard, banner ads are still effective.

2) Put together an ebook of your articles and sell it. How-to articles and books are always in great demand. Many people will be willing to shell out some cash to gain information about a specific topic and subject. With your existing list trusting your expertise in that area, an e-book could be offered and sold or used as a freebie

3) Ask other companies for a small percentage of sales done through your list. With every sale done by customers that have come from your list, the other company will pay you a fraction of the sales. The more people that buy from them, the more earnings you get. Believe it or not many companies are more than willing to do this. Paying you a small percentage of the sale profits is no biggie compared to what they are getting, which is their product or service exposed to a new audience.

4) Network your list. Get people to encourage more people to view your site and subscribe to your list. The larger your list is, the more people will be able to click on your links and affiliate links as well as make your advertisement rates higher.

5) Subscribers as partners. This like having your own affiliate marketing program is a win-win situation. You could joint venture by having a sale or giveaway. This is a great way to not only make money for all parties but attract more subscribers to your list and theirs.

Contrary to rumors email marketing is still very much alive. Your list will be the bloodline of your growth and increase. There are many more ways to make money from your list but it comes down to taking care of your subscribers. Once you do that, they will show their appreciation to you many times
over.

Looking For Some Network Marketing Tips to Help Your Team Grow Huge?

Sunday, November 14th, 2010

Many people start in their network marketing business thinking they are going to make a ton of money selling the products or marketing the services. This is so far from the truth. The only way you can make a lot of money in your network marketing business is to duplicate yourself. Meaning you have to the ability to sponsor people and train them so they can become successful business owners themselves.

If you are looking for a way to explode your team then your business really needs to have a training program that rocks. The right business with the right training program will attract many different kinds of people. Some people will have no experience what so ever in the network marketing arena and will really need a step by step plan to grow their business. You will also attract successful business people. They are looking for a business that has a training program so they can use it to build their enterprise.

When you see a successful network marketing entrepreneur you know that they have built a team that has a training program in place to help their downline become a success. The MLM industry has the coolest structure. In order for anyone to be successful they have to make sure they have a system in place that teaches their teammates how to be successful.

Make Sure You Have A Training Program In Place

I can be the best salesman in the world but until I understand that to build a huge network marketing business then I have to be able to train many different kinds of people. So my training system has to be simple and easy to duplicate.

In my experience you are going to find people who need to be held by the hand and walked through getting started. They are going to need emails, possibly web casts, and I’m sure phone calls to encourage them they are on track. Then you are going to find the other extreme of people who want no help at all. They are going to ask for links, maybe some written instruction and they want you to get out of their way. In either extreme you need a training program that works for all kinds of people.

In many network marketing programs the training starts out teaching about the products or service, the opportunity itself, and then will share or explain a marketing strategy. At some point though you are going to have to different marketing strategies in the training. Many businesses have the basic training in place but have nothing in place to train people how to grow and keep in contact with a huge downline.

As you grow your business you need to continue your own training. You need to research successful entrepreneurs and businesses to see the different systems they have in place that has grown their own company. You will see all of these people and businesses have a training program in place that meets the needs of all people and usually for every step in growing a person’s business.

It is going to be extremely important that you take advantage of all the network marketing tips so you can make your team go boom. Continue to research and study successful business people. Find out the training programs they have in place that you can use to enhance your business. Put together a training program that will reach all the different people you are going to attract and then watch your business and team EXPLODE.

Online Marketing Tools That Will Help You Succeed In Network Marketing

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

In the age of the internet, it is pretty rare that you can’t start up your computer and search a subject and not find what you are searching for. Where network marketing has traditionally been a face-to-face business, it is starting to see a shift to the internet for help. There are hundreds of online marketing tools available to help with this shift and here are just a few that can help the serious network marketer make a smooth transition from face-to-face to online marketing.

Social Media is at All Time Highs

There is no better place these days to connect with people than through social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. With over half a billion users on Facebook, this allows network marketers to search out more like minded people with similar interests, share their products or services and just build a relationship with someone who they otherwise would never have been able to meet. Through social media is has become the norm to make friends with people you have never met face-to-face and probably never will. The secret to using social media as an online marketing tool is to really build that relationship, search out groups that have similar interests and ask a lot of questions without leading with your business. No one wants a business pitch on a social site. You never want to lead in with business. Get to know someone first to see if they are qualified or interested in what you are doing.

Get Those Thoughts on Paper

Article Marketing is a very under-utilized online marketing tool that can help in many ways. Basically the concept of article marketing is to write content that offers value to the reader so they come back for more. If you are in network marketing, you want to write about things that will offer value to other network marketers or those interested in pursuing network marketing. The rule of thumb with Article writing is that you need to make sure your articles are keyword rich so they rank on search engines thus they are actually seen. You also want to make sure to submit your articles to well known directories and also to as many directories as you can. An easy time saving way to do this is to purchase an article submitter that will automatically submit the content.

People Like Visual

With the internet, it is so easy to be fooled or to be misled. Video marketing is a great online marketing tool that more and more people are using to generate leads. Video marketing has become a must have in the network marketing world. Like article marketing, your videos need to be that of value to the audience you are looking to ensnare. With videos you always want to make sure to say who you are, a short summary of why you are cutting a video, have some valuable, relevant points and then a call to action of what you want the person who is watching to do. Also post to as many sites that will accept videos for the most exposure. Videos tend to work well to generate a following which is especially important when you are trying to build a list of people to talk with like in network marketing.

Again, the online marketing tools that are available out there are endless, but knowing the proper ways to use them will take you much further than not.

Help Protect Your Self Storage Facility Clients From Environmental Claims

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

The self storage industry has been one of the fastest-growing sectors of the United States commercial real estate industry in the last 30 years. There are now over 52,000 primary self storage facilities in the country, and in 2008 the industry had total sales in excess of $20 billion.* Self storage companies all over the country are acquiring new customers as people relocate and sell their homes due to the economy. Additionally, as of 2009, more than 700,000 self storage units nationwide are rented to military personnel who are serving away from their homes.

The rapid growth has forced self storage owners and managers to protect their premises from the increased activity that these sites have experienced. One of the main ways they can do this is by having a solid pollution liability insurance policy to cover themselves against potential problems that could occur from environmental exposures.

Self storage owners and managers should consider securing a Site Specific Pollution Liability policy, which will provide coverage for supervised and unsupervised self storage facilities throughout the U.S. Coverage can include: third party liability for bodily injury and property damage claims, first party cleanup costs, and defense costs; Transportation Pollution Liability coverage for waste hauled by the insured or contracted carriers; off-site coverage for non-owned waste disposal sites; automatic Extended Reporting Period (ERP) with optional ERP of up to three years; and an optional Mold enhancement.

Claims caused by a pollution condition may not be covered via the insured’s General Liability or Property form, so it is important for these organizations to purchase more protection. Coverage can be tailored specifically for self storage facilities and their exposures, such as abandoned, potentially hazardous materials, as well as mold.

What Potential Exposures Does a Self Storage Facility Have?

· Abandoned hazardous waste
· Midnight dumping
· Mold
· Hazardous runoff during rain events.
· The accumulation of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil.
· Misuse of self storage spaces involving activities unknown to the facility owner or manager.
· And many other exposures…

Many self storage facilities are affiliated with various associations dedicated to educating members about the challenges present in this type of operation. Some of them also provide information to members of the self storage facility industry on regulations and insurance recommendations made to these professionals. Now is a great opportunity to reach out to your self storage facility clients to make sure they have the most effective coverage in place.

If you are someone searching for a self-storage site to store your valuables, make sure you choose one with the proper coverage. Don’t be caught unawares and leave your personal belongings someplace where illegal activities, waste dumping, or some other unsavory activity could be taking place where the owner of the facility has no coverage to protect you and your belongings. It is best to choose a self-storage facility that also belongs to one of the above-mentioned organizations that educates people in the industry about the safest business practices and the best coverage available.

Finding A Mentor To Help You Develop Network Marketing Skills

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

Strong network marketing skills are invaluable in all aspects of the business world because they involved attracting and building relationships with like minded people. The best way to learn these skills is to find a mentor or group of mentors who are already successful and work with them. A good mentor can not only show you how to apply the skills but also guide you and keep you from making costly mistakes.

Network marketing skill building will teach you how to attract the right kind of prospects who have the same general goals and beliefs as you. These are called “Like-Minded” people and when you begin to attract them there will be a natural bond because you will instantly relate to them. When you a good mentor you will find this same type of bond exists and you can develop a strong relationship quickly. The key to a successful mentor relationship is that you must be willing to work and follow the instructions you are given. The role of the mentor is to assist you and answer questions but you are ultimately responsible for doing the work. In network marketing there are too many people who feel all they have to do is join and rely upon others to make them successful, this is the reason why so many people fail. In reality everyone only has to do a small amount of work and when added together it becomes a massive “collective” body of work that can produce incredible results.

This is the basic concept behind the Team Building Network. We provide each new member with a mentor who can help them get started. We also layout specific tasks that anyone can do in order to contribute to the project. Working together as a team we can all become successful because each person only needs to find a couple good team members in order to achieve success. That is a very small undertaking if you have the support of a high quality team behind you. The reason most people fail is because they don’t have the basic skills that allow them to attract and train a couple good people to their organization. They may recruit a couple friends or relatives but they don’t have the tools at their disposal to help them create success and it just becomes another disappointing failure.

If you wish to achieve lasting success you should join the Team Building Network (for free), gain access to all the tools and training and begin communicating with your mentor. Within a short period of time you will have the skills you need to build a successful team and enjoy long lasting success.

3 Tips to Help You Find Quality Life Insurance Leads

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

If you are a life insurance agent, then you no doubt already know that the hardest part of an agent’s job is getting business. Some agents rely on the tried and true method of cold calling. Others take advantage of newer approaches like online lead generation. The truth is, there are any number of ways to increase business and get new life insurance leads. You need only to take the time to find yourself some new life insurance leads.

Here are three ways many insurance agents get new leads and make more sales. Many agents rely on one or more of these methods. Some agents prefer one method over all others, while others use them all equally. Regardless of what you currently do, if you need to increase the number of leads you have, trying one of these approaches is sure to help.

The first method you should consider trying is to exhaust your personal network. Networking is essential in the sales industry, and life insurance sales is no different. Talk to your family and friends and see if they can refer anyone to you. Next, talk to your current clients and past clients to see if they could make any referrals. Not only does this increase your number of leads, but it could lead to more sales with your current clients. You may also want to consider sending out mailers to clients, although a personal phone call offers many more advantages.

Another method that is becoming quite popular, is to let someone else find the leads for you. Indeed, there are several companies that specialize in collecting life insurance leads. They collect these leads specifically to sell them to agents like you. They can provide you with as many leads as you would like, and generally the cost is very reasonable. If you need a boost of leads, this is perhaps the fastest and most effective way to get them. Some of these online lead providers even offer free life insurance leads for you to try out before you purchase any leads from them.

One of the oldest methods of insurance lead generation is cold calling. This is an essential skill that any agent should have. It is true that cold calling isn’t the most efficient means for finding leads, but it can be effective, especially if you are out of other ideas. The key to effective cold calling is to know what you are going to say ahead of time. Take the time to write out a script to help you when you make a call. You only have a few seconds to make a first impression and get a person’s attention, so make it count.

With these three methods you are sure to boost your number of life insurance leads in no time. You might find you like one approach more than the others. If this is the case, then stick with it! You’ll have all the business you can handle in no time

How Cell Phone Recycling Can Help African Gorillas

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Diane Fossey, the famous American primatologist, lived in the Congo in early 1967, studying African gorillas. Fossey, after the publication of several studies and photographs of her with the gorillas, almost single-handedly brought the plight of these primates to the fore of public consciousness in the early seventies. Today, it is these gorillas, particularly the Eastern Lowland Gorillas (gorilla beringei graueri) that are on the brink of extinction because of the widespread exploitation of Congo’s minerals and the armed conflict that has been raging in the area since 1996. How does cell phone recycling help protect African gorillas?

Bloodiest conflict on earth

Congo is a country that is extremely rich in minerals like gold, silver, diamond, and coltan (columbite tantalite). Tantalum, produced from Coltan, is widely used by electronics manufacturers in the capacitors of cell phones, DVD players, and video game consoles.

The continuing civil war in the Congo today, which many experts say is the bloodiest conflict on earth, after the second world war, has already claimed 5.4 million lives since it erupted in 1996. This war is being fueled, in large part, by the money from the illicit trade of Congo’s minerals in the world market. Armed groups in the eastern Congo, where most of the minerals are found, have enlisted entire tribes – through violence, intimidation. or bribery – to help extract minerals in the areas that they control. The proceeds from the sale of these “conflict” metals are then used to purchase medicine, food, weapons, and ammunition – essentially bankrolling and keeping the bloody conflict raging unabated.

How are gorillas threatened?

Since 1996, the population of gorillas in the area has steadily declined – from about 9,000 prior to the start of the conflict in 1996 to just about 3,000 individuals today. The mines that myriad armed groups in the region are operating have paved the way for large-scale destruction of rain forests in the area, effectively decimating the gorillas’ natural habitat. These have also attracted thousands of impoverished migrants from all across the country hoping to share in the bonanza from the mines, in spite of the apparent dangers.

The influx of large numbers of human migrants to the area naturally results in more forest cover destruction and food scarcity. Gorillas are now threatened, not just by the loss of their habitat, but directly, as poachers infiltrate their remaining enclaves in search of “bush meat” to feed the hungry migrant population. It’s a destructive cycle that tragically appears to have no end in sight, except, if no solution is found soon, the total extinction of the gorillas in this part of Africa.

How can we help?

Clearly, there is a connection between the plight of gorillas in the Congo and the huge worldwide demand for cell phones and other electronic products today. The Congo conflict appears to be a Gordian knot of political and economic ramifications that African and western leaders seem unable to untangle. Simple, straightforward solutions appear to be out of hand, at the moment. One measure, however, following the law of supply and demand, will clearly affect the finances of those armed groups that are operating those mines – cell phone recycling.

Cell phone recycling, done on a global scale, will automatically lessen the demand for metals used in the production of mobile phones – like gold and coltan. Every year, more than 100 million cell phones are replaced in the United States alone, and less than twenty percent are recycled or sent back to manufacturers for responsible disposal.

“Most people don’t know that there’s a connection between this metal in their cell phones and the well-being of wildlife in the area where it’s mined,” said Karen Killmar, the associate curator of mammals at the San Diego Zoo, in an interview with the National Geographic. “Recycling old cell phones is a way for people to do something very simple that could reduce the need for additional coltan…and help protect the gorillas.”

As we can see, there is a connection between cell phones, cell phone recycling, and threatened gorillas in the conflict areas of eastern Congo. Cell phone recycling may be a secondary solution, far removed from the horrific reality of the war – but it is an effective tool that all of us can wield to help end human suffering and protect wildlife in the region. Recycle phones today, and create that positive impact for the African Eastern Lowland Gorillas.

5 Simple Strategies To Help Move You Closer To Your Goals

Organize Your Life A Little Bit Each Day

Do you have a feeling of despair at the mess in your home or office? Maybe you’re not even dealing with a mess; you might have things fairly tidy, but maybe you can’t find a single thing when you need it.

If this sounds familiar to you, you need to think about what a good organization strategy can do for your productivity. Being more organized will make your life easier as well as save you time at the end of the day. If you’re interested in organizing your life, little by little, think about these organization strategies:

1. Tidy a Little Bit Every Day

Many of us shudder when it comes to cleaning. If you think that you have to break out the brooms and mops and spend the whole day cleaning, then you’re in for a surprise. The truth is, by spending just ten or twenty minutes a day organizing your space, you’ll be making a huge difference.

Start with cleaning one area each day. This can be a deep cleaning or just a superficial cleaning but at least you’ll feel productive. Once this becomes a habit, you’ll finish your cleaning faster and have more free time everyday. If you need a visual, try making a checklist and posting it!

2. Everything Has Its Place

When you’re organizing your workspace or your living area, everything needs to have a place where it “lives.” For instance, scissors need to live in a specific box or drawer, as do other small things. If something doesn’t have a specific home, it will wander, get lost and generally add to the clutter that pervades your area.

Take some time to really consider your options when it comes to making sure that everything has a place on a permanent basis. Get a fun labeler to help you label specific containers. Have a color code system or get some really funky office organizers!

3. Reminders

Get yourself a professional journal or a daily planner and use it. Sometimes just the action of writing something down in a book can really help you remember where you need to be and when.

Other ways of reminding yourself of important events is to use post-it notes or an organizer on your cell phone. Experiment and use whatever method works best for you and your lifestyle.

4. Throw It Away

When you’re looking to de-clutter your workspace, make sure you throw away things that you no longer need. Everyday do a quick purge and get rid of things that pile up on your desk or kitchen counters. This will get you more space and give you a better idea of what is going on in general.

Daily mail and papers are the biggest clutter culprits. Be sure to throw away any junk right away and file away any important papers. The longer these things stay in a pile, the more likely they will get lost or forgotten.

Shred it. Actually, this is fun. It can give you a piece of mind as well knowing that your information isn’t just scattered everywhere on the planet!

5. Set Routines and Learn to Delegate Chores

Keeping a home organized and running smoothly can be difficult, especially if you have a large family. Establish set routines so certain tasks are completed everyday and assign large chores, like laundry, to a specific day of the week. This way you know exactly what chore has to be accomplished everyday.

Delegate chores to your spouse or children that are age appropriate. Dividing the work among many family members teaches everyone how to work together as a team.

No one expects you to go from clutter-bug to super-organized overnight. But by simply implementing a few of these tips into your life, you will re-discover what it’s like to be prepared and organized both in the workplace and at home.
